God I'm so bored with my hair, help me!

Getting my hair cut on Wed and I always go for the same boring graduated bob simply because I can't think of anything else.

I'm 50, like to dress well and not too dull (I hope). Always have my nails done etc. Any suggestions for short ish styles for a change?

My hair is really fine, hence the reason I keep it short and I don't have a fringe just now but don't mind having one. Help please!

Oh and it has to cover my ears.

How long is it now? I had a while ago a bob cut perfectly straight and level, on a side parting, about jaw length. I loved it! I'll see if I can find a pic....

What about changing the colour to mix things up a bit? Fine hair suits a blunt cut to bulk it out so you could try a shorter bob, all one length or even a fringe? Or you could go mad and get a short bleached crop.

How about a bit more movement?

Or a bit of a wave?

Side fringe?

I'd be happy with any of them but think my hair is still too fine. 😞

Side fringe has grown out so I'm undecided whether to go for a full on blunt fringe or a side one again. I think I suit a fringe better but I get so bored with it!
