Gentle foundation for sensitive eyes

Whenever I put on my Bobbi Brown foundation (which has spf in it but also serum), my eyes get very sore, start watering... Anyone else had the problem with Bobbi Brown or other foundation? What brand shall I get instead? Thank you.

I get this. Spf in foundation can be the problem. Try to find a spf free version? I often use mineral makeup and powder foundation.

Do you also use an spf free day cream then? I use Simple which has sfp in it and I'm fine with it. Thank you!

I use a separate daily sunscreen (Japanese Biore Watery Essence spf 50) that seems to suit me. I've sampled a lot of sunscreens, some of them make my eyes itchy and teary, others do not. Have been too lazy to find out which specific sunscreen ingredient causes the irritation.

This forum thread says avobenzone might be the culprit - haven't checked all my tubes but Biore is fine for me. Some people get symptoms from all chemical sunscreens.

Thank you. I'm onto something. My day cream uses a physical suncream and my foundation seems to include some chemical sfp ingredients as well as far too my oils and perfumes. Will switch to a more simple product without chemical sfp for starters.
