DD is at uni 'up north' and needs a new coat.
We like the look of something like this www.mountainwarehouse.com/seasons-womens-padded-jacket-p13210.aspx/Black?gclid=CPv5moz5688CFUSfGwodrZoCdQ
But it needs to be waterproof as well as warm.
Any suggestions?

Hi diddly. I have seen that one and love it .....but DD is insisting she wants a black one! Might get it for myself though Wink

If you can stretch to it, Didriksons are warm and properly waterproof.

Another one for Didriksons. Or any other scandi brand like skogstad. They know how to make winter coats.

The North Face do very similar ones to your link above but think they cost about 3x as much!

I have been looking at all your links - thanks!
I don't want to spend more than £100.
Scottjls - clicked on your link above but that jacket is sold out....but did end up finding this one instead for me! Been looking for a wax effect jacket in black for a while as I love my khaki one!
