How warm are Uniqlo ultra light down coats?

I really feel the cold and have got my eye on the long version of one of these. Are they thick enough for proper winter, or are they more of an autumn transitional thing?

I just got one and it's plenty warm for me right now (a bit too warm when walking briskly and/or getting on a hot stuffy train). Might need an extra layer or two come the really cold winter but the coat is sooooo lightweight it's a joy to wear and it folds down to nothing so great if like me you want to run to work and have a coat to wear home in the evening.
It also looks pretty good I think- very pleased.

The wind goes straight through them so you may need an extra layer

Definitely not warm enough for proper winter weather imo

Great in autumn, with an added scarf/jumper they are cosy this time of year but def not for winter in my experience.

I'd compare them to a fleece. I wear them as a warm layer under a windproof jacket and use them on planes and car trips and as a light coverup in the early autumn. They are not waterproof.

Thanks for the help guys.

Great as an extra layer in winter as they're so light they fit easily under a thicker coat, even under my 'pleather' jacket.
