What to wear to wedding party?

Wedding was abroad in summer. Party in U.K. this weekend starting at 7pm. Help, I don't have a clue.

Cocktail type dress or jumpsuit. Nothing too "day wedding".

Look on ASOS, order 5 things, send 4 back.

Colour, price, size in mind?

Lol. Well I'm a tight arse, wasn't going to buy new, but wasn't sure if I would be overdressed in a dress. I really am not a very confident person, and won't really know anyone ( dhs colleague)
