What kind of handbag do you use for work? I have to often carry A4 files, laptop etc so it needs to be roomy and stylish.

Any ideas?!

I have two bags. A smart backpack for the a4 stuff and a handbag.

This was after I got back pain carrying stuff on one shoulder.

Nyan thank you. That's going in my basket.

I have this backpack which fits my laptop and some paperwork with the top unfolded. If I need to carry more I use a Le Pliage tote, also have this but in black if I need something smart. The problem with big bags like the Le Pliage is that unless you are very disciplined you can easily end up carrying round all sorts of random stuff (or at least that's what I do!).

Have this one to carry laptop, iPad, lunch etc on weekdays:

Have had it almost a year now, the frame of the bag is quite sturdy so it hasnt changed shape. And its cheap as chips. Used to have laptop in separte bag, but got fed up to play a camel with all the bags hanging on me.

Two bags here

I have the aspinal Marylebone Tech which I bought with the idea of just having one but it's really too heavy with my laptop in it. I spend too much time in airports and walking to work for it to be practical so I've reverted to my usual selection of handbags for purse, travel wallet, phone etc and my laptop and note books go in my Tumi backpack
