Wash in - wash out hair dye?

Does this still exist? All I can find is Pixie Lott pastel colours. When I was a teenager Boots always had loads of natural colours (and Plum and Mahogany lol!) in little sachets that wash out after 4-6 washes. I want a nice rich brown colour to match a clip in fringe that I bought.

Hello, Scott Cornwall does a range in Boots and they are called 'Colour Restore'. Theres quite a few shades to choose from, so fingers crossed you will find one to suit. They comb in to wet hair and then rinse. Lasts until it washes out over a few washes and you can top up as required. All the best! Smile

No idea but I am having nostalgic flash backs to Shaders and Toners and the 'half and half' ad that was in every magazine! Smile

Superdrug do their own version of these. Think they are called colour effects and come in a little bottle for about £2. Smile

Ah, thanks Phoebe! I'll have a look.
I used to use the blue-black one a lot until my mum let me dye my hair properly Grin

Wonder if they're good for disguising roots between appointments?

KitKats28 · 20/10/2016 08:39

My daughter uses the Superdrug ones in the little bottles all the time as an alternative to re-dying her roots. She wets her hair, rubs it on and leaves it to dry then rinses it. If you use it every few days, it does a really good job.

AgathaF · 20/10/2016 08:52

Crepe you need a spray on hair colour for that - brilliant stuff.

FoxesOnSocks · 20/10/2016 09:30

I too miss Toners, and Harmony in its little triangular prism. At

No Superdrug round these parts Sad

Dancergirl · 20/10/2016 09:56
