Hi. I wondered what those of us size 16 (im 18-20)are wearing this autumn. I need inspiration as I'm stuck in Jeans and "floaty" tops. Feeling more daggy than daggy mcsadface!

Black jeans & a smart, white, long sleeved tshirt.
Not going to work so no need for smart stuff however it does look pretty good with boots & a bit of bling. Oh, and my curves too of course Grin

Rumtopf · 18/10/2016 08:18

Leggings, a wrap dress and long cardi with ankle boots. I love Autumn as I love my boots and feeling cosy.

MrsLogicFromViz · 18/10/2016 08:39

Size 16 (sometimes 18!) here. Boden red fitted jersey dress, charcoal coloured ASOS leggings, DM Viola boots in burgundy all toppled off with a gap black leather biker (and an M&S cardie for warmth.)

polyhymnia · 18/10/2016 08:59

Sounds nice, MrsLogic.Which Boden fitted dress, or is it from an earlier season.

reddotmum · 18/10/2016 12:15

What kind of Carey's can u get away without looking frumpy? Also any links to casual dresses

grey (forgiving) shift dress with black opaques and black moto boots

poppym12 · 18/10/2016 15:09

Gap 'washed black' real straight jeans, grey long vest (moss Copenhagen), lightweight black jumper (la reroute), blowfish lace up boots and a duster coat from next which actually resembles an out of shape duster these days, handmade silver rings and earrings.

ilovecherries · 18/10/2016 15:35

Black NYDJ straight leg jeans, oversize silver cashmere jumper, black leather Nikes. I've had to put a gortex jacket on top though :(

reddotmum · 19/10/2016 07:45

Today I have a "regular outfit" that's clothes not from Plus collections. Jeans from M&s jumper and vest from house of Fraser. This means as soon as this afternoons school run is done I will be racing home to put my "floppys" on. Smile

I'm not sure Polyhymnia as I bought a couple in the sale a few Christmases ago. They were doing the posh London location thing at the time: Pimlico, Belgravia etc. It's a long length (well, just past my knee) with a small flower print with a high scoop neck. I love it :)

MrsLogicFromViz · 19/10/2016 08:58

It is the Pimlico! My Aspie brain is rather tragic at times. I type this whilst wearing a Boden Breton.

polyhymnia · 19/10/2016 10:02

Sounds good, MrsL. Think I missed that one. I am very keen on the 'nothing from specialist Plus retailers' approach.

spottymoo · 19/10/2016 16:36

Denim shirt dress black tights and tan boots (size16)

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 19/10/2016 16:41

Currently in pjs but I was wearing a navy Cos dress, opaques and boots. Denim jacket and oversized scarf when I went out for lunch.

Cellardoor23 · 19/10/2016 17:34

I'm a size 14 and I've recently bought this:

I've also bought a couple of high tech scoop neck tops from uniqlo for extra layering. Will wear them with jeggings and either my DM boots or chelsea boots.

I'm eyeing this top up at the moment but I'm wondering if it's a bit pricey for what it is:

Cellardoor23 · 19/10/2016 17:37

heat tech sorry, not high tech!

Pinkkahori · 19/10/2016 18:32

I'm in Tesco dark grey skinnies and a black jumper I bought from Vila recently. I'm an 18 and this is a new look for me. I'm moving away from the bright tunic and leggings look. I used to love it but lately I have Bern craving a plainer, more fitted look.

poppym12 · 19/10/2016 22:15

Black jersey trousers, grey tshirt, grey boxy cardigan and slipper boots. (Haven't left the house today so was tempted to just put clean pj's on after I'd showered but thought I'd make an effort Grin).

qwertytrewq · 20/10/2016 07:06

My day off kit is jeans (slight slim fit boot cut) trainers, and plain round neck t-shirt, sometimes low, sometimes high, usually 3/4 sleeve for bingo wings.
I've recently started getting fitted-ish tops and well fitting bra and find I get a lot more compliments than in my old larger t-shirts/jumpers which I thought hid my size but just exaggerated everything!

reddotmum · 20/10/2016 08:58

M&S jeggings. Joules empire line tunic and M&S wedge boots.
