I'm developing a streak of grey in dark brown hair...however I do have quite a lot of natural red highlights in my hair.....if I use a red semi permanent...Will it just cover the white and leave the rest basically unchanged? Don't need proper dye, it's literally just a streak above my ear....

I dyed my hair for the first time recently at nearly 50 and used this.

Wet hair produces a 6 wash colour, semi dry a 20 wash colour and dry hair = permanent.

I liked the product and have got very shiny hair but I probably won't bother again as I quite like my few greys!

Give it a go. Experiment. Dyeing hair is fun. I have red hair dye over mid/dark brown with a few greys here and there and it usually comes out fine.

I use lush henna on my light brown with reddy bits greying hair. It's ok and feels less harsh than normal dye.
