Is this a suitable outfit for a hen party?

I am attending a hen party in a few weeks- plan is reasonably conservative- musical, dinner and dancing.

I bought this velvet body on a whim recently but have no idea how to wear it! I have a black leather pencil skirt (knee length) and was thinking the two together? Do you think it would be too much together?

If not how would you accessorise it?

I think that sounds nice. I tried that body on the other day - oh my word it looked appalling on me! So disappointed but glad it looks good on someone lol!
