My very gorgeous, young and polished colleague is wearing them today. They look weird. If she can't pull them off, no-one can. Well, maybe Rhianna.

They a better than the cropped bell bottoms though.

Ah pixie boots! My first real 'fashion' purchase. I got black canvas ones and thought I was the bees knees prancing about in them. Yikes, what was I thinking. Whoever wears these trousers is sure to have a 'yikes' moment in 20 years' time!

Saw these in Zara yesterday and thought they were vile!

I still want pixie boots! All the slightly older cooler girls had them! Mum couldn't be persuaded.

I used to go to C&A every Saturday to look longingly at the pixie boot display.

I begged for a pair of royal blue satin pants. I got burgundy velour pedal pushers instead.
