christening outfit ideas

Please give me inspiration as to what to wear to a Christening in mid-November. I am Godmother so want to look the part. Early 40s, size 16, like covering my arms. I have freckles and auburn hair.

Anyone??

What's the budget?
What sort of style do you usually wear?
What shape suits you?
Do you fancy a dress or skirt and top?
Do you know how smart the Christening is going to be?
Your colouring sounds as if you'd suit green. How about this or this as a starting point.

If the Christening is, as they usually are, in church then remember that they are not always the warmest of places so jacket/coat/scarf might be just as important for that part of the day

My budget is around £100 and I would like something not too figure hugging!

If you already have something smart just wear that. It isn't a wedding.

A few ideas on what may work for the Christening imo.

I was going to suggest a wrap dress as they are very flattering.
