Trouser hell! Why can't I find what I want?

I'm looking for a casual pair of trousers for work, you would think I'm looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

I would like a pair of straight leg (NO SKINNY LEGS!) trousers in a dark colour (think plum, dark green or navy). Made of a cotton twill, definitely not jeans but not smart tailored trousers either. Am I asking the impossible, I didn't think so before I started the search, now I'm beginning to wonder.

Anybody seen anything that remotely resembles my description? Oh and I don't want to spend any more than £30, preferably less, thank you.

I've recently seen a dark green pair similar to your description. Hang on I will see if I can find them.... I've been on loads of websites today so I could be a while.

Are these M&S ones too Jean like?

It was these ones I was thinking about but they are £35 plus postage.

I have also found these dark blue ones but not sure if the cut is too slim for you.
