Help I need ball or evening dress

I've not been to a ball since uni 20yrs ago and need a dress. Help where do I look? I've tried ASOS and Debenhams And eBay but can't find anything. I'm a Curvy busty 16, like navy semi fitted top, floaty bottom, maybe lace sleeves, below knee. I've got 4wks to find something I could make something but not sure if I can find the time to sew.

Hire one? Depending on where you are, there are shops that hire wonderful dresses for about the same price as buying a cheap one.

Thanks I will check out those suggestions. Overnight I remembered I still have the old uni dress and I've dug it out of my sewing "projects" box and it still fits!! Needs bit TLC on hem n zip but I think with new sparkly shrug it could work as its lovely deep purple.

Just need to find a shrug now, any gd deep purple, black or silver sparkly ones spotted?
