To wear with skinny black trousers for work..
bearing in mind I'm 5ft, 8 stone and a young 40!
Or will they make me look like I'm dressing like my mother?!?

Do we like these shoes?

oh no...the fringing/tassel and the ugly heel are too much together...

one or the other.

Loyly · 08/10/2016 16:54

No, I don't like them.

WatchingFromTheWings · 08/10/2016 16:55

What Tondelaya said. Too much going on there. And very old fashioned.

Sorry! Blush

SuckingEggs · 08/10/2016 16:57

Too fussy by half. Clunky, too.

Ringadingdingdong22 · 08/10/2016 16:57

No don't do it. Sorry but nothing nice about those shoes imo. Would maybe be ok without the fringing and tassels.

Nettletheelf · 08/10/2016 17:04

Aren't they those J Crew ones that Kate Middleton wore in Canada?

Let that be a warning. She has terrible taste in shoes.

Littlebee76 · 08/10/2016 17:13

Oh crumbs so glad I asked before purchasing!
It's not normally my style so thought I'd try something different. Never again Smile
They are from next so doubt it would be Kate's choice but there said - I do like her taste!

I'm 29 and like them. You'd need to be careful that your top didn't clash.

BennyTheBall · 08/10/2016 19:32

They are so fugly.

SinglePringle · 08/10/2016 19:33

I love them! They are fugly in a great way. Google the Gucci heeled loafer with pearl heels. They are eying ugly in a totally fabulous and very very classic way. And very fashionable right now. Yours are similar.

SinglePringle · 08/10/2016 19:34

eying? Lord knows how autocorrect changed totally to that?!

SansasEscape · 08/10/2016 19:36

I think they've got an old school-ish, trendy vibe. Something Alexa Chung might wear with a pair of high waisted mum jeans and a floor length coat.

If you're just a regular woman (I fall into this category!) steer clear.

LucyLot · 08/10/2016 19:40

The cube heel is gross. Dressing like your mother! RETURN!

allegretto · 08/10/2016 19:42

No we definitely don't.

Fairylea · 08/10/2016 19:43

Deffo similar to Kate's ones. I don't like them, sorry.

Clarks have some very similar but slightly less fussy type shoes.

garlicandsapphire · 08/10/2016 19:43

Yup fugly fugly.

clayspaniel · 08/10/2016 20:13

Like them, especially with skinny black trousers. Would only be frumpy if worn with knee length skirt and tan tights or with golfer type smart 'slacks'.

PotatoBread · 08/10/2016 20:25

I quite like them for work but you'd be quite limited as to what you could wear them with. Black cigarette trousers with with a black or cream/white top - that's about it really. Would look terrible with a skirt, dress or tights.

Littlebee76 · 08/10/2016 21:32

I tend to be quite conservative at work anyway, skinny trousers with either a black top or white shirt so no problem on the matching front.
Think I'm going to go with them, I'm not frumpy so think I could make it work!

I love them.

SquirrelPaws · 08/10/2016 21:37

Are they a bit Theresa May?

EnidButton · 08/10/2016 21:43

They're a bit panto prince.
