Recommend me a hairdryer please

I've not bought one for years. My old one got lost in our recent house move Sad It was due for a replacement anyway.

I really don't know where to start. Price not an issue but I'm not buying a Dyson one Grin

I have very thick, straight, just below shoulder length hair if that's in any way relevant.

Treated myself to a parlux last year and it's fantastic. Pricey but well made and will hopefully last longer than the cheapies I used to buy.
