Indestructible shoes for 13 year old boy?

Hi, as it says in the title really.

He's really tough on shoes, and now his feet are size 11.5 (adult) it's getting rather expensive.

We've tried decent dress shoes from Clarks which lasted a couple of months, cheap shit ones from Deichmann which have lasted a month....

The uniform code says they must wear shoes and they must be 'polishable school type'

I'm currently thinking DMs, hoping that they will last longer. Any other suggestions?

Tia

I was gonna say DM's before I'd opened up your post.

Me too!

I was going to say docs too - my DM had the exact same problem with my brother, then she bought him docs and they lasted years. He had boots, which he got away with at school as the boot bit was hidden by his trousers, but i imagine the shoes are just a tough.

Unanimous vote for DM then.

Thanks everyone

Also I would add kickers. One of the toughest shoes around. They last almost the whole school year.

kickers or Docs but kickers are cheaper

DMs are holding up pretty well so far. I'm trying to keep them polished to soften and protect the leather...

I got the Wonder Balsam for mine - it's as good as the reviews say Smile

Dubbin softens and waterproofs too

I'm a Urad fan (Lakeland)
