Heated straightening brush

Just wondered if anyone had tried one of those heated straightening brushes and if they were any good?
I've got fairly thick curly hair which I straighten with straighteners, and someone suggested the brush could be a quicker alternative
Any opinions?

I've just got one - I really like it. Quicker and less faffy. Good for smoothing and getting out kinks, Ok for straightening too - but really need a glove too for that.

Where did you get it from and how much was it, if you don't mind me asking?

I wouldn't recommend if your hair is really curly. It wouldn't work any better than normal straighteners.

Is it easier to use than curlers / Big Hair type tools?

I have one. It's ok. But the normal hair straightener with the two paddles work quicker.

I got one for my 76 year old Mum as she struggles with straightners now. She loves it. It was £38 in Wilkinsons.
