Anyone use electric shavers for body hair?

Does anyone use those electric/battery operated shavers for legs and underarms? I'm getting really bored with shaving in the shower and I don't wan't to wax so am wondering if this might be an option. But are they effective? Do they give a close shave? Can you use one of the 'male' ones or are they just for faces?? (Mind you, I may be needing one of those soon...) So many questions....

They don't shave as close as a razor but are much better on sensitive skin.

Some can be used wet. That's a big closer.

You can't use them damp. Must be bone dry or properly wet skin.

I use them on underarm because my skin is very sensitive to a razor
