Skinny black trousers/ jeggings

Can anyone recommend some skinny black trousers / jeggings that look ok enough for work but fit nicely, higher on the waist and tight round the ankles.

I'm only 5ft 2 but most I've tried have baggy ankles so look daft with ankle boots. I'm a size 8/10

Bought some super skinny high waisted trousers from h&m yesterday that are tight all the way down. They had loads of other colours too aswell as black.

Try bershka

Afishcalledchips · 05/10/2016 08:02

I just bought some 'ex Bershka' black high waist skinny jeans on ebay, brand new (end of line or something?) for £8. They are lovely, really nice quality and a good fit. I'm 5"4 and they don't bunch up on the ankle for me. Definitely recommend them.

I have about 3 pairs of fat face jeggings (essentially tight, soft jeans) which are fab.

stripeyzebra32 · 05/10/2016 08:05

Asda wonderfit skinny jeans. High waist, comfortable and they stretch and when you throw them in the wash they go back to there original size. I'm 5ft 3 and there short ones are about right. I like them so much I have 3 in different colours. There £20 but have lasted over a year and still look good as new

Afishcalledchips · 05/10/2016 08:08

here they are they were actually only £6 with p&p Smile

PepeLePew · 05/10/2016 08:09

What's your budget? The Amanda jeans from Hobbs are great and do all those things but aren't cheap.

frikadela01 · 05/10/2016 09:13

I second the asda wonderfit jeans. So comfy and I've had loads of compliments whilst wearing them.

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 05/10/2016 09:21

For trousers- Gap Bi-stretch. There's always a 30% code around if you look. I think mine were £30 something with the code. They are amazing.

Asda wonderfit skinny jeans

They are the best jeans I have ever worn. I remember 18 year old me bawling when I fell over and ripped the knee on my first pair! I cut a hole in the other knee and still wore them for another 2 years 😂 I've brought multiple pairs since then.

AtleastitsnotMonday · 05/10/2016 12:22

Zara ones are good

Oldraver · 05/10/2016 13:44

Afish...How true to size are the Bershka ? They dont have my true size and even though Asda may think so there is no way I'm a 14

Shelvesoutofbooks · 05/10/2016 14:12

Oldraver - I'm usually a 14 but comfortably fit in a 12 in Bershka

Dancergirl · 05/10/2016 15:24

Mint Velvet treggings

Littlebee76 · 05/10/2016 15:54

Just looked online for the Asda wonderful but they only have xs in short. Would that be a size 8?

OP posts:
Littlebee76 · 05/10/2016 15:55

Scrap that, they don't have any small or xs sizes now :(

Afishcalledchips · 05/10/2016 16:20

I'm usually a 10-12 and find the 10 a good fit. So generous I guess (okay, okay I'm a 12)

Littlebee76 · 05/10/2016 19:35

Such a shame they don't have my size!!

Comingfoccacia · 05/10/2016 19:36

I got some fab ones "Eden" at Dorothy Perkins. Currently on offer

stripeyzebra32 · 05/10/2016 21:03

Asda wonderfit small is a 10-12 but there small but get bigger IYSWIM I wore mine at a size 12 when I gained 2 stone and I'm now a 8/10 after loosing 3 stone depending on what shop and they are the perfect size now. Best jeans for that reason

syntheticharmony · 05/10/2016 21:09

I have Dorothy Perkins black jeans, Bailey I think they're called. Super comfy, stretchy and super skinny. I wear them for work and they're perfect.

Littlebee76 · 05/10/2016 21:48

So far all the suggestions have either sold out in my size or aren't petite :(
I'm destined not to get any!

Simplecountrygirl · 05/10/2016 21:53

H&M slim or skinny fit black trouser/ jegging things!

GipsyHill · 05/10/2016 21:57

I get my black jeggings from New Look. I like them because they don't lose their shape and are tight at the bottom so good for tucking into boots.

I'm also not as petite as you so the high waist hides my belly Grin

Vicliz24 · 12/10/2016 20:23

I second the Dorothy Perkins Eden jeggings they're lovely
