Help! Coat discount dilemma

I've seen a coat I really like and my finger was hovering over the "buy" button on the website last night but there's a sale on so I thought I'd see if there was anything else I wanted today.

This morning I got an email from a discount website with an extra 20% off the brand and they have the coat in stock in my size so it's £35 cheaper. The only problem is that the discount website has a delivery time of 3-4 weeks, and I know from experience it can take longer.

So, do I pay an extra £35 for another month or wear out of it or wait patiently for a bargain?

I was about to order a leather jacket last night but the delivery is 6-6 weeks and I decided that's just too long to wait.

If you knew it was definitely going to be 3 weeks I'd ha g out but if it's 4+ id probably pay the extra £35.

Don't buy it! I guess the other thing is the size- I think Jaeger coats come up quite big? If I got the wrong size from brand alley I wouldn't be able to exchange. There's no way of knowing how long it'all be- they aren't often before the estimate though.

I'm assuming that since they've already got 20% off the outlet and 40% off selected items that the Jaeger outlet aren't likely to reduce it any more? Do people generally size down on Jaeger coats?

I got the brand alley one. I'll keep my eye out for further discounts in the meantime then if it comes up cheaper before it arrives I can cancel the order.

Once you add it to your basket it takes off another 20% making it £196. Or is there another discount on the other site as well?

I've found that on Jaeger outlet before - further discounts applied once added to basket. Its usually blanket offers like 'extra 10% off knitwear' that you may not have noticed and aren't taken off until you start checkout.

I've just realised my message might imply I think you're stupid, that is not what i meant at all I just thought I might have been figuring it out wrong.

It's ok Darkswan I didn't read it like that! Brandalley have an extra 20% off the £199 making it £165 ish delivered.

I nearly bought that coat last year but didn't have it in my size.
In my experience outlet often has more discount added - yesterday there was extra 40pc off selected styles but I don't think that coat was included. I'd wait and watch the jaeger outlet site like a hawk for the price to drop further. And yes, size down in that coat.

Yeah, I'll keep my eyes open for a deal on the outlet whilst I'm waiting for the other one.
