Is the design difference worth £79?

These jackets. I like the one with the small pocket but it's £79 more expensive.

I like the fit on the more expensive one much better (assuming that it fits you properly, that is!)

Yes. The more expensive one is also a far better cut.

Oh, Yes, well I prefer the first one, the zips up the sleeves are a bit too much on the second one as well. The first one is just subtler less shiny and nicer.

I think the one in the first small pic is a much nicer shape and the pockets are vertical which is more flattering. However they've both got a lot going on in terms of zips, pockets, studs. Have you tried them on?

Yup I meant the first one, although the second looks better unfastened. They'd both be too busy for me but I'm quite small.

Agree that you should pay the extra. The 2nd one, even at £79 cheaper is still too expensive for it not to be completely right. It will likely annoy you in the long run if you get the cheaper one and the cut isn't as flattering.

Update: It arrived today. It has holes (defects) on it and the leather is very thin and smells weird, almost plastick-y. But it says 100% sheep leather. Definitely inferior compared to my BLK DNM and Schott.

Needless to say, it is going back.

I'm glad you said you don't like it, because I was going to go against the grain and say they're both not very nice. The weird little pocket which sits nearly in the middle of the stomach but not quite is really horrible.

I think maybe they tried to copy Acne Mape jacket with that little pocket?

I was really disappointed - I've seen high street jackets with better quality than this. This is like Zara or River Island level.

Just saw your update after I posted. Holes in it? How much was it originally? It looks expensive though obv even if it wasn't, it shouldn't have holes in it!

I wouldn't worry terribly about the smell as leather often smells. I think most 'new' leather takes time to wear in. My favourite leather jacket is twenty years old and I bought second hand back then!

Yeah it has some holes. The leather is very thin, and like I mentioned, the smell is different. I have BLK DNM and Schott, and those have definitely superior leather than this. This really seems like high street quality.
