Waterproof coats?

I'm sorry, I know this has been done but I can't find the thread. I need a good waterproof and warm coat for school runs. I've looked at Barbour but they're a bit more than I'd like to pay. I saw a brand mentioned previously (I thought it was SeaFolly but that's beach wear). Any help appreciated.

Seasalt. Fabulous coats. Expensive, but worth it.

Lighthouse do great waterproof coats too. I have the Isla and love it.

I have a Benghaus with a removable inner jacket, which means you can wear it summer and winter. I have walked through monsoon-like rain and stayed warm and dry.
