Never had a pair of jeans that fit

So ever since I was a teenager I've had a really awkward shape for jeans apparently

I have long legs and a long body with a high waist. Regular jeans sit in the dip on my hips and leave me with a builders bum Blush high-waisted jeans still don't reach my waist so also work their way down to my hip dips, so same problem with the extra problem of them looking all horrible and scrunched up at the top.

I've even got some super-high-waisted jeans which probably would have been great pre-DD but now my post-baby tummy pushes them down to.

I've never had much money so all of my jeans have been cheap ones but I've decided to save up and get a really decent pair but I don't want to spend a load of money on jeans which are going to do the exact same thing and leave me exposing my bum to everyone whenever I sit down/kneel down with DD Blush

Should probably mention that I'm looking for skinny jeans as I don't like any of the other styles on me...

Help!

Selfridges London store has an extraordinary range of jeans (from Cheap as Chips to You Cannot Be Serious) and they are also very, very helpful. Is a visit a possibility?

Ooh possibly, my dad loves going up to London so I might be able to get a lift and we could make a day of it around Christmas time... Thank you!

Ignore me if this is too obvious but do you wear a belt? A belt makes a massive difference to how jeans fit.

My DM was forever telling me to wear a belt but it never made much of a difference Sad

I've just looked it up for you - it's the biggest jeans dept. in the world apparently (a bold boast!) and they have "denim specialists" to help you.

You can book an appointment in advance with one of the specialists: the online booking thing is here

Oh wow thank you! I'll have a look Smile
