Every time I link to shoes on here, it seems that my opinions suck and I have terrible taste.

And I have bought two pairs of boots today. Are they awful? I have no idea Blush

The little heeled brogues are cute and are great for work either with opaques and a dress or with fitted trousers. I wouldnt choose the second boots but they are fine and fit your remit of casual boots to pull on for the school run. They're nice and slouchy to just pull on over skinnies. If you like them and feel comfortable and confident in them that's the main thing, don't worry about anyone else, everyone has such different tastes and what suits one person won't suit another.

I would love the brogues but I can't even manage a small heel without looking like a duck Confused

I wear shoes like the black ones and I look great in them [weird self confidence smiley?!]

I think they look quirky and sexy, quite madmen.

I vote wear them with dresses and tights, or under longer trousers with a nicely fitted top.

Brown boots I like the upper but I'm not mad on the wedge - for a slim wedge like that I'd prefer a sleeker shoe. With that upper I'd want either a flatish boot or a chunky heel. No idea why.

No idea if I'm stylish, probably sometimes. I do get compliments on my shoes though

I like the black ones. But, really, how long do people spend looking at other people's shoes?

Fizzer123 · 29/09/2016 19:22

I like the black ones, not too keen on the brown ones, but if you like them, and they are in your budget don't let what other people think bother you.

OpheIiaBaIIs · 29/09/2016 20:47

I love them both! DD19 has a pair very similar to the black ones. She wears them with midi skirts and block colour opaques. I'm very jealous of her - I can't wear anything other than FitFlops because I have RA in my feet. I'm incredibly envious of anyone who can wear nice shoes!

ChishandFips33 · 29/09/2016 20:52

I have flat and heeled brogues and reeled more dressy in the heeled ones

Thick tights, floral or skater skirts/dresses, chunky cardy - I am drawn to quirky though at times!

ChishandFips33 · 29/09/2016 20:54

What you wear with them will make or break them - as will the confidence you air when you're in them!

Try some things on and post pics

I like the blacked heeled brogues but then I love brogues.
I'd probably wear those with a dress and opaque tights rather than trousers.

First ones are very sexy secretary. I like them, very vintage. Second ones I don't like, just don't like those slouchy tops, but they do seem acceptable to most people.
