Dr. Martens sizing

Cellardoor23 · 28/09/2016 18:17

I'm usually a size 5 (sometimes a size 4) What's the best size to get for Dr. Martens? Am I better sticking with size 5? Or do the sizes run big?

Any help will be great! Thanks Smile

I'm also between a 4 and a 5 and I went for the 4 (Chelsea boots). Haven't cut my feet to shreds (yet!) and I can wear two pairs of socks. I'd say they are big if anything.

I find them a bit big.

scaredofthecity · 28/09/2016 19:14

Definately come up a bit big, especially the shoes

I am same as you so i bought a 4 as i though they looked so big, i was tortured. Now happily wearing my 5s.

piglover · 28/09/2016 19:15

I found them smaller, if anything and bought a size up and they fit brilliantly.

It's the Leonore/Wyoming Chelsea boots if that makes a difference? I don't think I will need to wear thick socks with them. If only they did 4.5 sizes!

Thanks for the replies.

it completely depends on the style. I can be either a 6 or a 7
