It's not so much the colour, it's that the newest 'trend' is referred to as awkward length Just doesn't make it sound very appealing to me.

I have one a bit like the culottes jumpsuit, 1st item, second row in that Asos search. I like it but DH said "that's an odd length are you sure it's right?" when I first wore it!

I've got some denim culottes in that length. They are super comfortable & I've received lots of compliments. I can't wear flares as I walk around too much & they get dirty or it rains but these give me a different look I can wear with flats or heels.

I think they screwed up on the patterns and decided to make it a thing.

What's wrong with midi length as a word? Mini is somewhere between knee and vulva, knee-length is knee obviously, midi between knee and ankle AS IN THAT DRESS, ankle at -shocker - ankle and maxi sweeps the floor. Granted that the names referring to body standards fail since bodies aren't standard but awkward length??? All knee length skirts are awkward for me because they never are.

Well that awkward length is a totally different length to the other awkward lengths so what is the definition of awkward length and how could it be the correct awkward length on everyone?
