Are Ugg boots really small fitting?

I bought a pair of boots online in my usual size and I can't even get my feet into them!

They're not 'Ugg boots' in the sense of big flat boots, they are just a fairly nondescript pair of casual suede ankle boots with a tiny block-ish heel that happen to be made by Ugg, if that makes a difference...

I'm a 6 and have to buy a 7.5 in uggs so yes I think they're small. Are you sure they're genuine?

Have you checked What Uk size they are ie: my uggs are a uk 5.5 but USA 7 which I think is how some sites show sizes and not the uk equivalent.

elastamum · 27/09/2016 13:23

UGGs are at least a size smaller than you would expect. I learned this the hard way Sad

Thanks everyone.

Yes. It says they are a UK size 4, which is what I wear, but they're tiny.

Definitely genuine, or at least they should be, because I bought them from a reputable, well known website.

Back for a bigger size they go, thank goodness for free delivery and returns Smile

They do some weird sizing thing with half sizes. It's irritating!

Paulat2112 · 27/09/2016 13:57

I found the other way! I wear a 4 but buy these m, emu & bear paws in a size 3. 4 falls off my feet

The sheepskin will flatten. If they feel small but you can lay your foot and toes out flat, they'll probably be ok. If your toes are scrunched and the width feels tight rather than snug, they're probably too small.

I always size down in Uggs actually.

treaclesoda · 27/09/2016 16:17

I can't even get my foot into them, never mind having to scrunch up my toes. They got as far as my ankle bone and no further. And I have teeny ankles. Maybe they're just not the right shape for me.
