What shape/style bra?

Pre dcs I was a perky 30f/32e. 3 dcs down the line with weight increase of 5 stone over pregnancies and I'm now left with tiny boobs. I'm thinking a b cup. I have no issue with smaller boobs (in fact I prefer it I think) but they are so shrivelled. I mean completely empty. I've worked really hard (excercise and healthy eating) to lose all the weight and some and my body looks better than ever but my boobs and c section over hang just seem to be lost causes. What style bras are best for my sad boobs? After dc2 the assistant in debenhams who measured me basically said they're a lost cause and I will never be able find bras that fit well! She said all bras will gape at the top as my boobs aren't full enough. Is this the case and what bra style/shape would I be best with?

I was in a similar situation to yourself, I usually go for Freya bras, usual 34 FF/G went to 32 d/dd. The last place I ever thought, Ann summers! They had this x3 cup bra that made my boobs look amazing, like Jessica rabbit amazing. Best bra I've ever had, it had removable inserts if you didn't want as much va-va-voom

Yes Ann summers measure. Although in ours the changing room is up by the naught bit 😝

Get yourself to a specialist bra fitting shop, keep trying until you get someone who knows their job. Once you know the correct style and fit for you, you can take it from there.

I wouldn't recommend Ann Summers for measuring, we've tested them before and they do the old fashioned method which is useless, especially for the issues you describe.

Style wise, you're almost certainly looking for a half cup or proper balconette with quite wide wires - something along the lines of a Freya patsy half cup

Size wise, grab a measuring tape and measure yourself as described here and post up your measurements and we'll be able to advise

The fitting service I got at Ann summers was excellent.

You get the odd good fitter, but as a rule the approach they train is poor- same as M&S and lots of other places and results in too big a band and too small a cup. But sometimes you get a rogue who knows what they're up to!
