My nails appear to be beyond restoration and I have a holiday coming up at which I'll be bridesmaid. I really want to have lovely nails. So should u get shellac polish or tips? The nails are so weak and brittle I'm not sure a shellac would even work as there's a short of 'shelf' on them where the tip peels off. I'm not that concerned about causing further damage to my nails, once this holiday is over I can keep them really short and try to get them into some sort of decent condition. I just won't have the time to do that right now.
