Nivea for men as a primer

I always use benefit porefessional or smashbox but I've got to cut back on unnecessary spending. Does the Nivea for men aftershave balm really work as a primer?

I've never tried it myself, but have been recommended it a few times by the women on the Dior & No.7 counters in my local Boots. Apparently the one for sensitive skin is the best.

I used it but it gave me a rash all over my face but I have ultra sensitive skin

The MAU I go to for weddings uses it, she did say it's dependant on your skin though, I think if your skin is dry you shouldn't use it. Last time I noticed that she used it and my makeup still lasted all day.

I use the sensitivite balm and my make up lasts all day with it.

I used it for a while. But it smelt too manly for me. It did a good job under estee lauder double wear but Ive now swapped my foundation for ysl touche and I like a bit more moisture under it.

I use it and like it, and my sister who's a bit of a make up addict swears by it!

I've tried it once and it worked ok but the smell is awful.

It's incredible but I don't like the smell and it's not quite gentle enough for me.

Yip I have used it. Also used it on clients. However the scent is pretty strong so I tried the new primer they brought out and it's just as good.

I've just discovered No 7 primer, expensive but best I've used so far.
