Has anyone bought custom made winter boots before? I have very thin, very long legs and big size 7 feet. Everything looks like a top-short Wellington boot on me.
I've given up on Ted and Muffy as they don't trim down the ankle measurements so you end up with puddles of leather around your feet. The St Martins place storeshop assistant told me last year that they get the models to wear two pairs of socks to make the photos look good 
I've found a place online called The Bootmakers who will adjust the calf, ankle and length to suit. Has anyone ordered from them? Or does anyone have any other ideas?
