What to wear over this Seasalt dress?

I have this dress from Seasalt which I love. Currently wearing with sandals/converse but love that I can pair it with boots/leggings as cooler weather comes.

Struggling to find something to go over it though (e.g. a lightweight jacket/cardigan) because of the style/fit of it.

For info, I'm a size 16, 5'5" - any thoughts?

Would something underneath be easier? Like a long sleeved shirt or polo neck?

Pyrrha The sleeves come to just below the elbow on me and are quite tight fitting so it'll probably have to be over rather than under.

How about some kind of gilet, there seem to be lots of sleeveless jacket type things around.

How about a lightweight poncho in a contrasting shade of blue?

I have something similar although not as fitted, I wear an oversized charcoal grey cardigan & a khaki parka.

A long fitted (or belted) cardigan would be best.
