AlphaH liquid gold on qvc TSV

Is liquid gold worth it ? It's £39 plus delivery for the liquid gold, eye serum and rejuvenating face cream.

My skin is pigmentated and getting crows feet as close to 40, will it help ?

For your issues and at that price I would say go for it. LG was fairly unique for a time, but other brands have now forayed into strong AHA products, some of which are cheaper and with less alcohol in, so you do have other options, but that is a really good deal. Only use the LG 3 times a week/every other night, and if you don't already use acids you might want to start off even more slowly.

Thanks I do use retin a normally but it's too sunny at the moment. I did use glycolic last year but felt it emphasised my pores, but I was using a very high percentage and not a branded product.

Not keen on alcohol in products as it dries my skin out, which others do you recommend ?

I use liquid gold, it did purge my skin the first couple of times so I was a bit alarmed but it's been great for my skin.
I bought mine from QVC last year and this is a really good deal if the size is 200ml.
I haven't used it over the summer but I will be Late autumn/winter time.

It's for 100ml of the liquid gold and full size eye serum and rejuvenating face cream. Argh I think I might sit on it till tonight as I'm not sure.

I fancy those Unwrinkle pads Nabootique but they're £34 and if you have a reaction then it's a lot of money. The reviews aren't great.

I found liquid gold to be nothing short of miraculous on my skin and the longer I use it the better my skin gets.

I would say my skin is dry, dehydrated, aging, pigmented ! So good looking !! Do you think it would suit that kind of skin ?

I'm not sure if you mean the LG or the Peter Thomas Roth pads, but they both contain AHA, which is good for all of your issues, but the LG has such a high alcohol content that to me this is counter productive for dry and/or dehydrated skins (and you've said you find it dries your skin out) which would otherwise benefit from an AHA product.

Having said that, people swear by it, so what do I know? I have combination skin and I do use acid toners that contain alcohol, but only when the other ingredients are exceptional, which isn't the case with LG in my opinion. Alcohol (of the denatured variety) is one of those things that I just feel is best avoided where you can, as it has no value other than a preservative or an astringent. There are other preservatives for use in acid toning.

To confuse things further (sorry), if you are dry you might find lactic acid is a better AHA for you as it is more gentle and it is also a humectant. It is easier to find this in a alcohol and glycolic free formula as a serum, rather than a dedicated toning product. I think I'm just going to try different things, I really like and get on with lots of different things but not much has a lasting effect. So I think I will order the alpha h as you said deltacrook I can always return them.

There's evidence that your retain a will do more to fix the problems you describe, than an AHA. For the money you're thinking of spending on Liquid Gold, you could get a lovely moisturiser and sunblock that would make the retain a more tolerable at this time of year.

Well you know I got an indeed moisturiser from tkmaxx yesterday and a oil with vit c in, I was thinking that using retin a (even with factor 50) was bringing out my melasma moustache ! So I stopped using it. When it gets cloudy I think I will go back to it, I was wondering if alpha h was a miracle product I hadn't tried yet

The eye gel is amazing! I ran out s couple of weeks ago and could tell the difference within a few days.

The liquid gold and the night cream are brilliant but the star of the TSV is definitely the eye complex

Oh nooooooo buyers regret but regret that I didn't buy it !!!! I wonder if I should just get the eye cream on its own !

I did my retin a last night and put my new moisturiser on and look a bit more resfreshed today
