Armani Jeans Sizing

Am I really just fat, or is their sizing really small?

I ordered jackets in size 44 and 46, and both are small! I'm a 16 at most.

Only really have experience with their other labels but tend to find them fit rather generous. IT44 is more a UK12 and IT46 is a UK14 though. A French 44 is a 16 and a German/Scandinavian 44 is an 18.
