Made the mistake of spraying myself liberally with Tom Ford 'Neroli Portofino' in a department store yesterday.

Oh. My.

What's top of your 'really really want it but can't justify the price tag' list?

The original Genta-designed Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch. A snip at about £23,000.

Ilias Lalounis jewellery. Too scared to look up the prices!

Another couple of metres of hanging space.

braceybracegirl · 13/09/2016 16:47

Thanksforallthefish - I'm having that done on the NHS for free. Hating it though. Braces currently cutting into my cheeks :( but worth asking??

PollysPoppy · 13/09/2016 16:55

Great thread! Top of my list was a Mulberry bag. Have coveted one for years and finally treated myself to a Tessie Hobo a couple of weeks ago.

If I won the lottery, I'd love this and, mentioned above, a Cartier Tank watch.

Of course, practical things like change the car, fix garden up but those aren't S&B!

WarholsLittleQueen · 13/09/2016 16:58

A genuine chanel 2.55 I have a fake

A Mulberry Bayswater in oxblood

A Range Rover

budgetsbonus · 13/09/2016 17:03

things like molton brown, jo malone stuff, mulberry, bottega veneta and mulberry purses.

in reaity, i'd feel stupid with a £500 bottega purse while driving a crappy 14 year old car!

wayway13 · 13/09/2016 17:05

I'm terrible for not buying things I want. It took years to finally buy a Radley bag. £200 so maybe not that expensive compared to other brands but it feels like a lot to me. We are comfortable financially but both come from humble backgrounds and prefer to have decent savings.

The other day I told DH that I was going to start buying Original Source shower gel even when it wasn't on offer. I'm out of control.

HolaWeenie · 13/09/2016 17:11

A Cartier bangle. It's on my Amazon wish list, optimistic.

Yeah, don't worry - you and I are at about the same level of indulgence. Wink

I'm lusting after a $300 bottle of perfume, and now look like a cheapskate when everyone's talking about £20,000 jewellery! Grin

There's a Spanish designer called Delpozo. It's all stunning, it's almost all four figures it's also not very practical for toddler group.

New collection being shown soon though so I have new pics to fawn over coming up.

cheapandcheerful · 13/09/2016 17:15

Converse. I know Sad

KoalaDownUnder · 13/09/2016 17:17

Oooh, Cartier bangle - thats a good one! I'd have this one never happening

Currently I want some new perfume, specifically Kenzo Amour. I always want new perfume though! This is too £££ for me at the moment, but achievable if I save it up.

I would also like a Chanel suit, a vintage one. This is totally unachievable Grin

I have had some nice things in the past and had to sell most of them, I actually made money on some, mostly my louboutins so if I had the money now I wouldn't feel guilty about buying classic "investment" pieces.

ElspethFlashman · 13/09/2016 17:30

The Original Source comment is hilarious, cos this week I saw some coconut hand soap at half price and was all "Ooh! I can buy Original Source!" I felt all fancy with it in my trolley. Grin

KoalaDownUnder · 13/09/2016 17:32

I have been known to lash out when Neutrogena Rainbath is 30% off Grin

I buy a bottle of Badedas every Christmas.

It's sad that I'm not even joking Hmm

LanaorAna1 · 13/09/2016 18:14

A capacious grey cashmere blanket scarf. Not one of those mean ones that look like bibs.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/09/2016 18:32

Tom Ford Tuscan Leather - the most beautiful smell known to mankind, except perhaps a cake just out of the oven.

A Vivienne Westwood full skirted printed cotton dress.

hooliodancer · 13/09/2016 18:35

A convertible car.

A swimming pool.

A wardrobe of Jigsaw clothes.

Boredbeforeievenbegan · 13/09/2016 18:44

A Givenchy nightingale!

SlinkyVagabond · 13/09/2016 18:58

Non s and b-a wire haired fox terrier.

oliviafrombolivia · 13/09/2016 19:47

a cashmere dressing gown..

GingerLDN · 13/09/2016 19:53

A Burberry Mac.

FlindersKeepers · 13/09/2016 19:56

I'd love a Cartier Tank Française. The steel one. No real bells and whistles.
My wrists are very slight (the rest very normal), more wouldn't look right on me.
My plan is to get one for finishing my (part-time) Masters. So maybe in 2 years?
Second hand would be fine!

Whatabloodyidiot1 · 13/09/2016 19:57

A cashmere onesie, I'd wreck it by spilling food down it and/or throwing it in the washer.
I do have a personal trainer though, he's worth every penny, and it's an investment in my health. I don't fancy him AT ALL.....
