Foundation.. Sorry I know this will have been done to death!

I normally don't use a foundation for every day use - I've been using Loreal Nude Magique BB cream for a couple of years and I really liked it however I've found recently it's making me look very oily / greasy.

I'm thinking now I've officially reached my mid thirties I need a foundation. I'm not looking for a heavy coverage - something really sheer preferably (I'm not too wrinkly and my skin is pretty healthy looking). I just don't want to buy 5 to find none of them quite right. So ideally I'm looking for suggestions - preferably for a counter or somewhere I can try first. I'm not too worried about the price either, anything considered.

Sorry for an essay about foundation!

I like Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere or the YSL Touché Eclat foundations.
Both quite sheer and dewy looking. I'm not keen on the matte look myself.

Great - dewy is the perfect description for what I'm needing! I shall try these!

If price really isn't an issue, Suqqu's Frame Fix is amazing.

Chanel's Les Beiges is lovely, especially with Le Blanc primer. For evening/heavier coverage you can't beat Estee Lauder's Double Wear.

I've got a sample of clarins new superbalanced foundation, they're doing 10 day samples at counters, it's a really lovely finish, not too dewy, not too matte, light to medium coverage and lasts well. £23 or something so reasonably priced too

Laura Mercier Silk Crème is amazing. Good coverage but just looks like amazing skin instead of foundation.

Brilliant! Thanks for all these suggestions. I like Clarins generally so I'll start with that, fingers crossed!
