Victoria Beckham really suits this look

Best she's looked in ages imo.

Not a fan of her latest range or the stick thin models but she totally suits this outfit and hair.

I like the outfit. The oversized look is huge at the moment on Planet Fashion and VB is doing her own, very well thought out take on it here. The flat shoes too are very this minute.

Her latest collection was also working with the oversized and slouchy trend. That lilac crushed velvet dress with its contrast of draping and bare skin is a winner - the pale green version was shared a squill on times on Instagram after how show apparently.

So saying 'oh she'd look nicer in something fitted ' is beside the point. That tailored, fitted look is just not now in fashion circles. She's projecting high fashion - quite edgy trends - for a market that's a bit scared of it, and doing it very well.

That skirt costs 1777 quid. Think I'll pass....

Agree she looks good in that photo. Nice to see a hint of smile. Does anyone know why she rarely smiles in pics?

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 12/09/2016 12:08

That skirt (and the price!) doesn't do it for me. It looks like a 1940s games mistress' skirt. Which isn't my thing really.

JohnCheese · 12/09/2016 12:35

I agree, it's all so incredibly contrived.

But she does look a heck of a lot better than I've seen in ages. Probably because she's not in agony wearing 6 inch high heels.

MargotLovedTom · 12/09/2016 12:42

That checked skirt is frumperama even on a leggy model. And I'd be dying to snip off all those daft, loose bits of wool. Even without the budget issues, I'm not cut out for haute couture.

Floisme · 12/09/2016 12:49

I'll never be a customer of catwalk fashion but I still like to look. Agree the loose bits of wool look silly but I love the sticky-out shape. And if it really was made in the uk (as opposed to just getting the buttons sewn on) then at least it's not out of a sweatshop.

She does look fab in the more relaxed look. I am a huge fan of hers. She's a smart, tenacious woman. The press have always wanted her to shut up and go away and just be Mrs David Beckham, hiding in his shadow. She has always refused. I'm really happy for her that she's found her niche where she's being celebrated and applauded instead of just being given endless amounts of shit for not smiling and being too thin FFS Hmm

GinAndOnIt · 12/09/2016 12:50

I love some of her stuff but it's way too expensive for me. I loved her matchstick patterned skirt and top combo. Really loved it.

JohnCheese · 12/09/2016 12:51

I would cut those threads off that skirt.....

RepentAtLeisure · 12/09/2016 17:45

I hope I don't sound incredibly passive-aggressive, but I'd love the number of her plastic surgeon, or whoever has made the adjustments to her face. It's so restrained! Her nose and mouth just look 'better', they don't look like she's swapped features with a mannequin as is usually the case. Her brows are well done, and she must have a bit of filler in her cheeks and lips, but again, it's very subtle. Celebs should take a photo of her into their appointments, not Kim Kardashian.

Imperialleather2 · 12/09/2016 18:07

She looks like the karate kid!!

CakeNinja · 12/09/2016 18:31

Had to do a double take, thought Richard Branson had drastically changed his hairstyle Grin

CakeNinja · 12/09/2016 18:33

And that skirt looks like a car blanket wrapped round the waist.

phoolani · 13/09/2016 23:01

Lotta - I'm a fan of hers for the same reasons. The amount of flack she's had for years and she just keeps going, putting herself out there, doing what she wants to do, carrying on with her shit regardless of the criticism when she could easily have just sat around being rich. I wish I had half her drive and determination.
