Recommend me some cheaper face washes/cleansers

So I'm currently trying to spend less on my beauty products and am on the hunt for dupes and good products. I currently use liz earle hot cloth cleanser which I love and have used for years but want to find something cheaper if possible. I've tried the no7 one (which wasn't much cheaper but was on 3 for 2 when I stocked up on the moisturiser I use) and am not impressed at all! I have sensitive, acne prone skin so nothing too harsh or drying. Thanks!

Oh and feel free to recommend any other cheaper versions of things while you're at it. I've already discovered nyx lipstick which is almost as good as mac!

Super drug do hot cloth cleansers, which I have known people to ditch LE for.

Also, NSpa from Asda. Another hot cloth cleanser.

I like the Garnier Micellar water too.

The Superdrug radiance hot cloth cleanser is really good and gas many ingredients in common with the LE cleanser.
NYX individual eyeshadows are good aswell.

I love Garnier Soft. It's between £2-3 a bottle. The facial wipes are good too. Was eying the micellar water the other day. Might try it as everyone is saying it's good.

You honestly need look no further than the Superdrug Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser. It's £4.99 for a big 200ml tube (which lasts for ages) and is very comparable to Liz Earle. it comes with a pretty measly muslin cloth, but I just use it with a warm flannel. It is unperfumed and non-drying and removes everything, including eye make-up.

I haven't yet found a micellar water or a wipe that isn't slightly irritating to my skin.

Other bargains: Tesco value baby lotion is 29p for a massive bottle. No-one could accuse it of being a luxury product but it works fine on my dry skin (body NOT face - it is too perfumed for facial use).

Moisturiser: I have very dry mature skin so this may not work for you but I find the Superdrug Simply B day and night creams (I use the purple range for oldies) fantastic and always seem to be half price.

I find the Superdrug vitamin E stuff too rich for my skin, but their Naturally Radiant hot cloth cleanser is excellent. I will never buy Liz Earle again as this does the job for a fraction of the price.

Most of the Superdrug range is great ie the toners and treatments like the glycolic mask etc. The Body Shop also do some good skincare. I'm currently using the Vitamin E face wash which is great for my very dry skin.

The Superdrug range is cruelty free as well.

Jamie The Bodyshop used to do a vitamin E facial cleansing bar which was brilliant. Sadly it has been discontinued.

Thanks ladies! I will definately try the super drug one, sounds perfect! I use simple micellar water in the morn but prefer something more moisturising in the evening that I can have a real good proper clean with.

I bought the superdrug one today. Can't wait to try it.

Superdrug own brand cosmetic products are not tested on animals.

I suffer from dry skin especially in the colder months, but not since I stopped using facial cleansers and started using baby soap for washing with (and Apricot scrub twice a week), and Nivea Soft for moisturisation. Very cheap!

I use this with a hot washcloth. It's lovely, it doesn't dry my skin out and it doesn't irritate it - I tend to have quite reactive skin.

Definitely the superdrug radiance hot cloth cleanser. Great stuff. If your budget will stretch to mid range, the la roche possay effaclar moisturiser and acid tonet is good for sensitive acne skin.

The body shop camomile cleansing butter is fab. Will not go back to more expensive cleansers. I also like the SuperDrug radiance hot cloth cleanser. It's great at make-up removal and non drying. I really don't think there is much point in spending a lot of money on cleansers. You rinse them off and they don't stay on your skin for very long.

I agree Itsautumn, but I don't have particularly sensitive skin.

The Superdrug radiant one is BOGOF at the moment and the vit E one is BOGOHP. They're both good.

I wouldn't recommend Apricot Scrub, especially for sensitive skin. The ingredients list is just awful and it is very damaging to skin.

I used to ask for Liz Earle for my birthday/ christmas as everything else (really, everything) just burned my face and gave me spots.

I tried this and it's just as good. I was so impressed. Stopped buying LE now.

Our Superdrug doesn't seem to sell the radiance one. But I got the Vit E one. It's lovely!

Superdrug Micellar wipes are fab - I've really sensitive skin and find them better than most branded wipes.

I have used Liz Earle for 20 years and I always go back to it.

I did try the Superdrug one, it is decent but nowhere near as thick and it smells awful. I couldn't wait to go back to Liz Earle but I would say it is a close dupe.

Wipes are ok to remove make up but should always be followed up by an actual cleanser that will cleanse your face. Wipes just move makeup, dirt, grime etc around your face without properly taking it off.

I absolutely love the super drug radiance hot cloth cleanser. I have extremely sensitive skin and it is one of the few cleansers that doesn't irritate my face.
