I need a new hair dryer. What do you recommend?

My Babyliss dryer keeps cutting out. I have also had issues with the Babyliss Big Hair styler and am on my third one. My hair is shorter now so i don’t use the Big Hair much.

Because of these issues do not want a Babyliss one. I also don't need any fancy attachments, certainly not one of those diffuser things.

I would realistically like to spend between £25-£40.

Any recommendations?

Sorry, not much help, but can recommend a parlux. They are more expensive, but bombproof and go on forever.

blueskyinmarch · 08/09/2016 20:04

How expensive?

After various discounts i paid about £65-70 for mine, but well worth it.

I absolutely love my Parlux. Dries in minutes. Think it was about £65.

Would pay twice that - it's amazing.

So what model should I be looking at? I don't like a heavy dryer

They arent light, but they do compact which is powerful but lighter. Look fantastic is where i found the best selection and prices, they usually have discount codes too.

I have this one -

Can't fit a diffuser on it, so if it ever dies I might get a model that you can fit one on to.

Mine is six years old now, used daily. So impressed with it.

How about this.
A snip at £300.

I have looked at all the Parlux dryers but can’t decide which one would be best. I don’t like a heavy dryer and i have shortish hair. Which one???

Going for the Parlux Superturbo 3200 Compact Hair Dryer. I think it will be lighter and easier for me to use.

I just got a Parlux and it has made my hair so much smoother and less frizzy. I barely need to use straighteners to finish it any more. My model is their light version, the 385 Powerlight. I think amazon do it the cheapest.

How's the hairdryer OP?
