Sixties fancy dress

Oh god. Just had an invite to a sixties party.
I'm 56, six feet tall, size 14.
I have black suede knee high boots.
Was thinking a shift type dress or mini skirt and ????
Any ideas?
I'm not a floaty hippy sort of person.

You could always go for the more styled route. I think if you get the hair right it finishes it. Get practising your beehive!

I have an Audrey style dress..black fitted sheath.
Hair could be a problem as I have a short choppy number!

Get a wig? You'd only need some costume jewellery and long black gloves. You could easily make her cigarette holder and you're good to go.
