I know stark white is a lot better but can cool-toned/Winter pull off cream?

I certainly can't. Makes me look ill.

This is the dress

Oh, that is pretty! It is close to the face though, in terms of neck line. Can you find something cream and hold it up to your face and see how it looks?

P.S. Found my Ambient Lighting Powder.

I'm pale and rosy-toned and if I wore that dress, I would wear it with fairly strong pink cheeks or lips so that I didn't look washed out. I like a colourful make up look though, not sure if that's your style

CoolToned · 08/09/2016 11:53

Nabootique - I found mine too!!!

I don't have anything cream. I was looking at the spots (to see if I can pair a cool-toned cardigan) and none of them are cool-toned.

Lottapianos - I normally don't wear makeup, but when I do, it's always blue-based bright pink. :)

No idea I'm afraid, but lovely dress! Where's it from please?

Lottapianos · 08/09/2016 13:53

Sounds good OP. I could totally imagine Lauren Laverne wearing this dress and she's very cool toned

Fuzzypeggy · 08/09/2016 13:59

I'm cool toned with pinky timed skin, this would look awful on me

Fuzzypeggy · 08/09/2016 14:00

Toned not timed!

CoolToned · 08/09/2016 20:17

dragonsarebest

It's from Australian brand "Alannah Hill"

I'm cool toned very pale and suit cream so long as it's a very pale cream not a beigey cream. If that makes sense.

EnidButton · 08/09/2016 20:22

I agree with the pink lipstick idea. I think it'll look good! It's not a really warm cream.

RaisingSteam · 08/09/2016 22:05

Put deep contrasting colours with it like a shrug to pick out the green or red? Have you bought it? I wouldn't personally go for it but I do wear cream with black.

CoolToned · 08/09/2016 22:14

No, I have not bought it. Thinking of buying it but I know that cream does not really go with my colouring.

I'm a winter and I would look dreadful in that dress. I can just about get away with cream when I have a tan but it still isn't great. I think you'd be better off finding something that naturally works on you instead of putting money, time and effort into trying to force this dress to work on you.
