Black tie wedding wear -Help!

DSis getting married in Dec. Big affair, 150 attending the whole day, double at evening reception. She's just announced it's going to be black tie. No biggie except I'm EBF. Does black tie mean I should wear a full length formal gown rather than a shorter dress? And if so does anyone have any ideas where I might find a formal nursing gown?? I've had a quick look online but not found anything, especially for short people!

What size are you?

I'd Google something like petite wrap dress. Or get separates - skirt and coordinating crop top, which you can pull up to feed. Coast do some nice ones.

Size 8-10, prob 10 with baby belly now.
Separates is a good idea thanks, will have a look at coast stuff Smile

Black tie is traditionally meant to be long dresses, but this doesn't always seem to be enforced these days. Ask her if she means long dresses. Puglife's link above is lovely.

Thanks all for the replies. Had looked at izzysmum and Tiffany rose and wasn't wowed by anything but I do really like the coast top and skirt. Think I'll order it and see how it looks IRL
