I need a hat, a wool one but not a wooly beanie

With structure, but not big. I'm short and my head is just 22inch circumference.

I look silly in beanies, even shorter. Berets are ok but it's not 1986 any more.

Trilbys/pork pies are a bit try hard.

Any ideas ??? Or links?

Chunky knit beanies are the most flattering on me, I've got a really narrow head and an ordinary tight beanie makes me look like I've trapped my head in a lift Hmm

I'm quite partial to a captains hat, this kind of thing, although there's every chance I look a complete twat.

Ok the captains hat is good! It's like a higher Baker hat

I wonder if I will look stupid, the models all tall and attractive Hmm

I have always fancied a Cloche hat in red. But hats dont suit me and I feel I would look a twonk
