Present advice for sick friend

My friend has a life limiting illness. She has a big birthday coming up. What shall I get her?

Thought maybe not jewellery as that's usually so you can keep it long term.

Very high end shower gel / moisturiser? Doesn't seem enough?

I've already bought her some make up, loungewear and Jo Malone shower gel since she's been sick!

Is she well enough to do a 'red letter day' or similar?

What about a beautiful blanket / shawl/ throw for her room or to snuggle up in. Always nice when I was seriously ill.
