Deep purple lipstick

So I bought a deep purple lipstick, inspired by the woman on GBBO. Considering I live in nude shades, this is quite a new look for me, and maybe one I never leave the house with 😀

Anyone else do random purchases like this?

I bought sparkly silver eyeshadow because it looked nice on Kelly Hoppen on Dragons' Den.

It looks crap on me

I was inspired to try dark grey eyeshadow by the nutty extremist woman in the last series of The Bridge.

I didn't like the purple one (Matte Volga by Nars) but week 2's (Retro Matte Flat Out Fabulous by MAC) purpley pink one is winging it's way towards me as I speak.
