Aldi Lacura skincare

We're on an economy drive as I've given up working for a while to be at home with the kids. My usual skincare products are Kiehl's. But I can't justify spending so much on moisturiser.

So, was in Aldi today and bought the Lacura Renew Day Cream. My skin is sensitive and prone to dry patches and redness. Have slapped some on and I haven't reacted badly, so that's good.

Anyone else using it? Any good?

I like their stuff. I especially like lacura face care illumination 7 days intensive treatment. It's a box of night and day ampoules. It was so good at its job I went back to stock up and there was none left and they haven't got any in since. I could still weep. I swear it lit my skin up.

The aldi face cream is meant to be really good.
I'm also on an economy drive after spending far too much over the Summer. Bought some Aldi hair conditioner yesterday. Smells nice anyway!

gamerchick · 01/09/2016 23:26

Sorry that didn't answer your question. I don't react to any of their face stuff either and there's lots that don't agree with me usually.

LamppostInWinter · 01/09/2016 23:29

I'm very eczema prone and my skin reacts to just about anything, but the lacura caviar day and night creams have been an absolute dream for me. My skin's never looked better!

I've really enjoyed their grape night cream and body lotion - I've only seen it in there twice and bought on sight.

That's good to hear Gamerchick. I've used the same stuff for years as it was one of the few brands that my skin didn't react badly to. Here's hoping a cheap brand will do. I don't need much more than a day cream, night serum or cream and face wash.

I've never had a reaction to any of their stuff. I use their handwash all the time and I have used their body cream a lot also.
Have used their primer and mascara in the past and have a lovely blusher which is a few years old but perfect for me.

I use the sensitive skin face oil & it's been a God send - I get itchy flaky red patches in/around my eyebrows & the oil has cured them. I do get the occasional spot but I can live with that Smile

We've only just had Aldi open up near us (WA), I gave the Lacura hand cream a go and I think its brilliant, non greasy but feels like its working. Next time it comes in I'll be stocking right up with it.
But based on the hand cream, I'll be giving the face creams a go when I run out.

I love their Bob cream but it is rarely in now

Diamonddealeroncemore · 02/09/2016 07:22

I have the Caviar night cream and day cream and it's lovely, I often find creams leave my skin tacky like it hasn't sunk in but these leave my skin soft.

Stellabystarlight · 02/09/2016 07:27

Yes I love it too. I am prone to dry skin/eczema on my face but have used various of their creams with no reaction.

At the moment I'm loving the renew Q10 multi intensive serum. Feels lovely and skin noticeably softer.

CoolToned · 02/09/2016 07:29

I tried Aldi skincare out of curiosity and I can say they're good.

soupmaker · 02/09/2016 09:58

Thanks everyone. So far so good. I've slapped it on this morning and skin feels fine. Going to check out the rest of the range once all the Kiehl's has run out.
