T feel aggrieved about the fact that midi dresses and skirts are in the shops, I love them and have bought a fair few. But the coats are not long enough!
I cannot find a coat that will look right, yet at a decent price and of a reasonable quality.

Wish I could go back and edit that post, but too late now...

I hear you!! I think shorter coats and jackets work. Cropped, biker style, short blazer or denim jackets. When it's cold peacoats look ok. Not sure many people can pull off the very long skirt with very long coat look unless you are tall.

right I've always wanted to swish around in a long coat but it doesn't look quite right on me - maybe because I'm 5ft?

I could wear all manner of crap underneath, and swish around in the coat...

He he I did have to laugh at topshop styling the coat with half mules.

I have the Topshop coat, and it is utterly gorgeous
