Straighteners reccommendation please!

I need some straighteners to replace a broken set of GHD's. I wasn't happy with my most recent set of ghds as they didn't hear hot enough to properly straighten my thick, frizzy, curly hair. The previous ghds I had used to go to 230 degrees but I think the newer ones are more like 180? Which just doesn't work for my hair so not going to repurchase ghds again.

So I'm after some with a heat of 230 degrees and preferably a comb attachment. Any ideas?

I don't use them myself but my work colleagues were discussing this and seem to think that Cloud Nine originals are really good. I think that's what they are called.

Cloud nines are meant to be fab-made by the guy who owned ghd originally apparently. But I decided to go budget instead and got babyliss pro 235

And I swear they are just as good as my ghds, if not better, for a fraction of the price!

Another vote for cloud nine's from me. They're great. They also make a blow dry spray called 'magical' which really is incredible - my thick hair now takes half the amount of time to blow dry and is soft and smooth even before straightening!
