Tiny broken veins on face

Just back from two weeks in the sun (and drinking rather a lot of wine) and noticed two tiny thread veins on the side of my nose, just where my sunglasses sat.

Will they go away? Will they carry on and take over my face? Is there anything I can do?

I have a few - I think they're burst blood vessels and no, they don't go away if that's what they are, tho you can - I'm told - get rid of them using IPL (the laser thingy!)
